Due to school closings, the student application deadline for the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs has been extended to 6 p.m. EST, Friday, Feb. 7.

Kentucky high school students in grades 9-11 are invited to apply for the three-week residential summer program. During the program, creative students, working in teams, will learn how to take an idea, turn it into a product or service, and develop a business around it.

GSE will take place June 22-July 12 on the campus of Georgetown College. There is no cost to attend. Students can apply as an individual or as a team of two or more.  To apply, students will need:

  • a two minute video about their idea or desire to participate
  • a  completed application form
  • two recommendations sent on their behalf
