The Kentucky Environmental Education Council (KEEC) will host a water quality and conservation workshop June 16 at the Hardin County Early College and Career Center and the City Springs Water Treatment Plant in Elizabethtown.

The workshop is open to teachers from all grade levels and content areas. Educators will conduct hands-on activities and learn how to teach lessons focusing on water quality and water conservation.

KEEC has received grant money to distribute to teachers across the state in order for them to conduct water projects within their schools.

The registration deadline is June 13. Email kghs@ky.gov for more information on the workshop.
