Four elementary schools and three middle schools in Bullitt County have been awarded Project Lead The Way grants funded by the Bemis Company Foundation.

Hebron, Mount Washington and Zoneton middle schools will receive $20,000 each over the next two years in PLTW Gateway grants. Cedar Grove, Crossroads, Lebanon Junction and Shepherdsville elementary schools will receive $7,500 each for two years for PLTW Launch grants.

Lisa Lewis, the grant writer for the Bullitt County schools, said the grants will bolster the district’s STEM initiatives.
