A new Kentucky Educational Television School Video Project (KETSVP) Challenge focuses on the 2016 election. Student-produced videos related to the election may be submitted. Suggested formats for videos include mock debates, a history of the election process, famous presidents, candidate biographies, an explanation of the electoral college, important election issues and student/teacher interviews.

The challenge is open through Nov. 18, and a drawing for a free green screen/lighting kit will be held Nov. 21.

KETSVP also has a new website, with all KETSVP challenges listed on the videos page. KETSVP is a place to share Kentucky school, government and non-government organization public service videos in a safe online environment. The most significant change is that uploading videos, documents, photos or music to the site is now possible only after a teacher or staff member has registered the school for a free account.
