Murray State University is accepting applications for its doctor of arts in English pedagogy program, a degree that fosters the development of master English educators from elementary through college levels. The program may be completed in as few as three years and is available on campus or online.

The degree is a 48-hour, practice-based degree that embeds advanced coursework in English and literacy within a framework of pedagogical theory and reflection. Designed for teachers in the fields of English language, literature and literacy from early grades through adulthood, the program offers five specializations, one of which provides supportive experiences and mentoring for school teachers pursuing certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

The application deadline is April 1. Click here for more information.
