The Kentucky Society for Technology in Education (KySTE) is accepting nominations for its outreach awards, which will be presented at its annual conference March 8-10 in Louisville.

Here are the awards:

  • Outstanding Teacher: This award recognizes and honors a teacher who has demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership in implementing technology to improve education. The recipient will be nominated for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) award at the national level.
  • Outstanding Leader: This award recognizes and honors a leader who has demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership in implementing technology to improve education. The recipient will be nominated for the ISTE award at the national level.
  • Outstanding Technology Support Staff: This award recognizes and honors a technician or resource person who has demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership in supporting technology to improve education.
  • Making IT Happen: This is an internationally recognized award program for educators and leaders in the field of educational technology integration in K–12 schools. The program identifies and rewards educational technology leaders in Kentucky for their commitment and innovation.
