The Kentucky Department of Education is seeking three high school teachers to work on the development of standards for elective high school social studies Bible literacy courses. House Bill 128 (2017) calls for the development of course standards for courses that utilize Old and/or New Testament Biblical texts.

Applicants will meet one or two days during the current school year to finalize these elective course standards. Selected team members will receive reimbursement for travel expenses, and substitute teacher expenses will be reimbursed to their school districts. Preference will be given to those who have taught a Biblically-based elective course.

The application deadline is Sept. 1. Email Karen Kidwell or Leann Pickerill for more information or visit SurveyMonkey.com to apply.
