Reservation requests are being accepted for three field trip programs offered by The White House Historical Association (WHHA) in winter and spring 2018 at Decatur House in Washington. D.C.
Programs are available for students in grades 3-12 from February through May. Each can accommodate up to 60 students.
Participating teachers must be willing to teach provided pre-visit lessons and complete an evaluation of the program.
The programs offered are:
- African-Americans in the White House Neighborhood (for grades 7-12)
- Forged by Fire: Dolley Madison, the White House and the War of 1812 (for grades 3-6)
- Paths to Freedom (for grades 4-6)
