The Kentucky Educational Development Corporation (KEDC) will host a workshop on argument-driven inquiry June 28-29 at the KEDC Conference Center in Ashland. The workshop is designed for teachers and instructional leaders who are interested in providing more engaging laboratory experiences for their students and in using research-based instructional strategies to improve their students’ learning.

The workshop focuses on ADI, an instructional approach that can be incorporated into any science curriculum. Teachers can use this instructional approach to provide students with authentic and educational laboratory activities that will enable them to learn the core ideas, crosscutting concepts and scientific practices they need to know to be proficient in science.
