In celebration of 40 years of annual conferences, the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education (KAEE) will construct a timeline of important events and achievements in environmental education in Kentucky at its conference Sept. 23-24 at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park near Jamestown.

Educators are invited to submit historical documentation that KAEE will use in constructing the timeline. Documentation may be submitted in the following formats:

  • Newsletter, newspaper or any type of press articles
  • Photos
  • Pass conference programs
  • Memorabilia
  • Digital archives, including general history of environmental education in Kentucky, personal history of environmental education and careers in Kentucky, KAEE organizational history and original or copied formats.

The deadline for submissions is Aug. 1. Submit documentation by email to Blair Hecker or by mail to KAEE, c/o Blair Hecker, P.O. Box 1208, Frankfort, KY 40602.
