The Frazier History Museum will host a professional learning program for teachers in conjunction with its new exhibit, “The Hunger Games: The Exhibition,” on June 24 at the museum in Louisville.
Teachers will explore ways to utilize “The Hunger Games” series to engage 4th- through 8th-grade students in English and social studies classrooms, analyze sample lessons from three teaching modules and explore ways to integrate themes from the series and the exhibition into other content areas, including mathematics, science and the arts.
Teachers also will tour the exhibition, which is open through Sept. 10. The displays celebrate “The Hunger Games” franchise through costumes, props, set recreations and interactive content.
