AdvanceKentucky, a Code.org regional partner and part of the Kentucky Computer Science Initiative, will host a video conference for teachers interested in learning more about the Code.org Professional Learning Program in Kentucky from 10 a.m. to noon ET Nov. 15.

A new cohort of high school and middle school teachers will soon be invited to apply to the program, which will provide free professional development to teachers who are willing to use Code.org curriculum to bring the Computer Science Discoveries course to their middle school. The application period for teachers will open in January.

Visit Code.org to register for the video conference, or use this Google form to sign up for notification of when the application period for the Kentucky Computer Science Initiative (a separate application aimed at districts and area technology centers) is open. Email Monique Morton Rice for more information.
