The Kentucky Society for Technology in Education (KySTE) is accepting proposals for its annual conference, the KySTE 2018 Spring Conference, which will be March 7-9 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville.

Presentations may be in a hands-on, activities-based, demonstration/lecture or other format and may cover various strands, including technical, instructional, leadership and library media. Presenters also may choose to present on an introductory, intermediate or advanced level. The conference theme is “Join the Excitement.”

The submission deadline is Dec. 1. Approved presenters may attend the conference for free.

KySTE also is accepting applications for various awards, including Making IT Happen, Outstanding Leader and Outstanding Teacher, as well as a new award, Outstanding Tech Support individual or team. The nomination deadline is Jan. 17.
