Derby poster contest open to high school students

The governor’s office has redesigned its Kentucky Derby poster contest to open it to students who are in high school. Students are invited to submit their rendition of what they think Derby day looks like, with the winning poster to be displayed in the Capitol.

Five finalists will be invited to attend a luncheon at the Governor’s Mansion, where the winner will be announced. The winner will be invited to attend the Kentucky Derby Festival Luncheon and the Derby Eve Gala as a guest of Gov. Matt Bevin and first lady Glenna Bevin.
