When I was in school you weren’t allowed to have a pager, or beeper as we called it, with you in class. Then you couldn’t have a cell phone. Now some schools are encouraging students to bring their phones as part of bring-your-own-device programs.

Devin wasn’t breaking any rules here. He was checking his phone after volunteering for a Continuous Instructional Improvement Technology System promotional video/photo shoot at Jessie Clark Middle School (Fayette County).
