James Allen is one of two full-time school librarians for Eminence Independent Schools and is the 2015-16 Kentucky Association of School Librarians president.

Allen is “passionate about communicating the impact and importance of having school libraries and school librarians available to every student in Kentucky” and believes the “most important stakeholders that we serve are our students.” An interview with him is featured here in Kentucky Teacher.
