New music education resource from VH1 Save the Music Foundation

VH1 Save the Music Foundation has released its 2017 Principal’s Guide, which provides music educators with key information, resources and insight for building their school’s music program. This comprehensive resource explores such topics as the Every Student Succeeds Act, program budgets, standards and student success.

VH1 Save the Music is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring music programs in America’s public schools and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child’s complete education. The foundation provides grants to public elementary and middle schools that do not currently have an instrumental music program in place and works at the school district level to identify schools in need.
