USDA releases revised Child and Adult Care Food Program eligibility guidelines

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has set the income eligibility guidelines for students and adults to participate in free, reduced-price meal programs through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for 2023-2024. The CACFP is federally funded through the USDA and is administered by the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Division of School and Community Nutrition.

Child and Adult Care Food Program Week set for March 15-21

The 2020 Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) week is scheduled for March 15-21. The program served more than 29 million meals to more than 90,000 participants at nearly 2,000 locations throughout Kentucky last year.
