The Purchase Area Writing Project (PAWP) Summer Institute, which provides teachers three weeks of intensive training and practice to promote improved writing and literacy instruction in public schools, will be held June 8-26 at Murray State University.
A joint effort between MSU and the Kentucky Writing Project, the institute offers six hours of graduate credit (the tuition is waived), a $500 stipend, resources and the opportunity to join a national community that focuses on literacy.
The institute is open to full-time public school teachers in grades K-12. Teachers must agree to serve as writing consultants during the 2015-16 school year.
The application deadline is March 23. Click here for more information or to apply.
