Population Education will offer a four-week accelerated online professional learning course on human population growth July 9-Aug. 3. The course is for science and social studies teachers in grades 6-12.
“Making the Population Connection: Exploring the Human-Environmental Nexus in Today’s Middle and High School Classroom” will focus on global development, human quality of life, natural resources and environmental sustainability. Participants will discover student-centered learning strategies that use contemporary issues and real-world data to explore the impacts of human population.
