The Kentucky Governor’s Office of Early Childhood is hosting the next installment of the Early Childhood Institute June 21-22 at the Galt House in Louisville. The Early Childhood Standards will be released at the Institute.
The Early Childhood Institute empowers early childhood professionals who impact and shape Kentucky’s youngest children and their families. The foundational goals of the Kentucky Governor’s Office of Early Childhood include:
- Ensuring more children are ready for kindergarten;
- Promoting greater collaboration between state and local communities; and
- Emphasizing quality and continuous improvement.
A strong early childhood workforce allows Kentucky to elevate professional strategies and leadership opportunities for early childhood professionals across the Commonwealth.
Kentucky continues to lead the way in early childhood apprenticeships, emphasizes quality and continuous improvement with the newly revised Early Childhood Standards, and ensures greater collaboration between state, local communities, and Regional Collaboratives to ensure more children have a strong start.
The cost to register is $250; meals are included.
