Get your school involved in the Scripps National Spelling Bee Program and empower your students with the words they need to shine their light on the world.

The spelling bee program allows you to create a learning experience that fits the unique needs of your students. Study lists, competition instructions and supplemental vocabulary materials provided by the Bee give you the flexibility to provide the spelling bee experience in the classroom, virtually or by giving quizzes through the Online Testing Platform. You can easily find a buzzworthy option for your school!

For $175 per school, the Bee provides everything you need to organize Classroom and School Spelling Bees plus the pathway for your School Champion to compete in your community’s regional spelling bee program.

These resources are all found within the exclusive educators-only section of the spelling bee website and include:

  • Official study lists for your students, organized by grade level and level of difficulty;
  • Official competition lists for use in conducting classroom and school spelling bees;
  • The Great Words, Great Works book list with all source books for words on the School Spelling Bee Study List, organized by reading level;
