The Kentucky Historical Society in Frankfort will bring history teachers from across the Commonwealth together for the Kentucky History Education Conference: Turning Points in History.
On July 13, educators will learn and share best practices for classrooms. Participants will partake in 12 sessions hosted by educators, visit vendors from museums and educational consultants and explore the Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) campus.
On July 14, educators will spend the day exploring history in Frankfort. KHS staff will provide special tours and reflect on how historical turning points in Kentucky are viewed today.
