Scholarship money is available for middle school and high school teachers in Kentucky to attend a 2024 Montpelier Educator Seminar.

Montpelier is hosting multiple seminars for history, government and civics teachers in 2024, including:

  • March 7-9, 2024 – American Political Economy featuring Danielle Charette with the University of Virginia; and
  • April 4-6, 2024 – Policing and Public Safety: A Black History Seminar for Educators on Law Enforcement and the U.S. Constitution featuring DeAnza Cook with Ohio State University.

Full scholarships cover six meals, two nights of lodging and a travel reimbursement of up to $675 for Kentucky teachers. The only cost for accepted attendees is an $85 nonrefundable registration fee per seminar, which should be paid within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
