KDE working conditions survey moved to fall

The Kentucky Department of Education’s (KDE) biannual survey of working conditions, the TELL (Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning) Kentucky survey, will be delayed for several months while KDE works through a request for proposals process to identify a vendor to administer the survey. Because of the timelines for completing this process, the survey will not be conducted this spring; instead, a survey is expected to be conducted this fall.

Once a vendor has been secured, KDE will provide timelines and guidance for the fall survey.

Because some districts identified the working conditions survey as a source of evidence in their certified evaluation plan, KDE’s Leadership Surveys webpage has been updated to provide guidance to support districts through the transition of the survey timeline.
