Cierra Wagoner, a 2019 graduate of Elliott County High School, was named Kentucky’s recipient of the Buster Bynum Scholarship from the Southeastern States Pupil Transportation Conference.
The Buster Bynum scholarship is a $2,500 one-time award to a graduating senior who has a parent employed in pupil transportation. It is awarded to a public high school graduate with at least a 3.0 grade-point average who will be attending a postsecondary institution in the fall after graduation.
Cierra Wagoner is the daughter of Tony Wagoner of Sandy Hook. Tony Wagoner is a school bus driver for the Elliott County schools.
