EdWeek report examines social-emotional learning during closure period

Education Week has published a special report that explores the challenges and opportunities to teaching social-emotional learning (SEL) when school buildings are open and tactics for keeping up the teaching of SEL with nearly every student in the United States out of school this spring due to the COVID-19 emergency.

“Social-Emotional Learning: Making It Work” includes original survey data that captures educators’ attitudes and experiences with SEL, as well as five stories.

Visit EdWeek’s website to access the report and more coverage on how the COVID-19 emergency is impacting schools.
