Kentucky Historical Society to offer camps, other summer experiences virtually

The Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) is taking its summer programs online with virtual tours, camps and live lectures.

Virtual summer camps will come with a “camp kit” of crafts and activities based on a weekly theme. Museum educators will meet with campers daily via an online platform to lead activity instruction and tour the KHS museums. Kits may be picked up at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in Frankfort or shipped for an additional fee.

Visit the KHS website beginning May 15 for camp registration and a list of available experiences, which will be updated as new experiences are developed.
