Registration is open for the Kentucky Historical Society’s (KHS’) virtual Kentucky History Education Conference from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET on July 15.
Eighteen sessions will target educators in K-12, whether they teach world or U.S. history or practice interdisciplinary learning featuring social studies content. A virtual exhibitor hall will connect participants with educational organizations both inside and outside of Kentucky. All sessions will be recorded and available to participants for one year after the event.
The cost of the event is $20 for members of the KHS, Kentucky Education Association, Kentucky Council for the Social Studies, Kentucky Association of School Administrators, Kentucky Association for Gifted Education, Kentucky Association of School Librarians or pre-service teachers. The cost is $30 for all other registrants.
KHS also will host a free virtual National History Day in Kentucky Workshop on July 14.
Registration for both events is available online.
