Training available on using Project Learning Tree in nontraditional setting

A one-day workshop to train educators on the Project Learning Tree (PLT) environmental education curriculum will be held May 17 and 30 at Americana Community Center in Louisville. The focus of the training is on using the curriculum in the nontraditional setting of a garden as a classroom, although it can be used in traditional classrooms as well.

The program is designed for use by educators in grades P-12, and lessons adhere to Kentucky Academic Standards.
