The Kentucky Association for Environmental Education (KAEE) will host its annual Outdoor Learning Symposium June 18 at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington.
The free event for K-12 teacher-administrator teams will examine whether school grounds can serve a broad function as interdisciplinary educational resources to extend the classroom outdoors. Teams must consist of an administrator, such as a principal or curriculum coach, and at least one teacher.
Teams may apply for a grant of up to $250 or a Project WET workshop for up to 10 teachers at their school.
