The Kentucky Library Association (KLA) is accepting proposals for its annual conference Oct. 24-25 at Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green.

The conference theme is “Re-Thinking the Way We Library,” and participants will be asked to reexamine library traditions, challenge commonly held beliefs and think about:

  • how libraries provide service;
  • the future for libraries;
  • how libraries engage with their communities;
  • lessons that can be learned from other industries; and
  • lessons learned from successes and failures.

The submission deadline is May 15. Visit KLA’s website for more information.
