KDE workshop to focus targeting improved student outcomes


The Kentucky Department of Education’s Office of Special Education and Early Learning will host a professional learning opportunity focused on targeting improved student outcomes, particularly for students with disabilities, June 27 at the Clarion Hotel Conference Center – North in Lexington.

“Building Bridges to Student Success” is designed for teachers, principals and district office staff members. Topic areas include tools for data informed decision-making, high leverage instructional practices, parent involvement, implementation of school and districtwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, and leadership development using the Implementation Science model.

Presenters and grant staff members will be on hand to answer questions and offer support at no cost to administrators interested in implementing any of these programs in their school or district.
