The Kentucky Association for School Social Work (KASSW) will hold its fall conference Sept. 27 at Elkhorn Crossing School in Georgetown.
The conference will include a discussion of trauma teams and resources schools can use as they implement Senate Bill 1 (2019), as well as several breakout sessions and an optional workshop on self-care for school social workers. The keynote speaker is Sabrina Brown, an author who will speak on interpersonal and domestic violence. The conference theme is “School Social Workers: Building Resilience and Awakening Hope.”
