Kentucky Exceptional Children’s Institute to be held in Louisville


The Kentucky Council for Exceptional Children (KCEC) and the Kentucky Department of Education will host the Kentucky Exceptional Children’s Institute Nov. 24-26 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville.

The keynote speaker is John O’Connor, who has led school improvement initiatives at the state and local level during a career of almost 30 years in public education. O’Connor has written four books, including most recently “Great Instruction, Great Achievement for Students with Disabilities: A Road Map for Special Education Administrators.”

The conference will feature special workshops on Nov. 24 and 26 that require advance registration.
