Kentucky Reading Association to hold conference

The Kentucky Reading Association (KRA) will hold its fall conference Sept. 26-28 at the Louisville Marriott East.

The conference will open with a workshop on the recently revised Kentucky Academic Standards for Reading and Writing and Kentucky Academic Standards for Social Studies. Keynote speakers are children’s author Carmen Agra Deedy, professor and writer Adria Klein and consultant and staff developer Stephanie Harvey. The conference theme is “Enter the Magical World of Literacy.”
