The National Archives Foundation is holding a youth art competition in conjunction with its newest exhibit and national initiative, “Rightfully Hers: American Women and the Vote,” which celebrates the centennial of women’s suffrage.
The competition, Rightfully Yours, is open to students in grades 4-6. Students are encouraged to explore what the women’s movement and the right to vote mean to them and how to represent this creatively through art. The grand prize winner will earn a trip to the National Archives Sleepover in February.
The entry deadline is Nov. 5. Visit the National Archive Foundation’s website for more information.
