KET offers travel reimbursement for media arts workshops

Kentucky Educational Television (KET) is offering travel reimbursements for media arts workshops at KET Network Center in Lexington during the 2018-2019 school year. The goal of the program is to help schools implement the Kentucky Academic Standards for Arts in media arts.

Teachers and students can build skills in video production and editing, explore using iPads and apps to make classroom multimedia projects, get an introduction to Minecraft educational gaming and learn about KET’s online classroom resources for teaching media arts.

The workshops are free, and transportation costs will be reimbursed through a grant from the Kentucky Department of Education as long as funds remain available. To schedule a visit, fill out the form on this KET web page. This will guarantee funds for reimbursement and start the scheduling process.
