Schools can host screenings of ‘Nova’ climate change documentary

Schools and other organizations are invited to host free screenings of “Decoding the Weather Machine,” the newest climate change documentary from PBS’ “Nova.”

The two-hour documentary explains why scientists agree that the world’s climate is changing, how climate change will impact our daily lives and how people can be resilient – and even thrive – in the face of significant change.

“Nova” will provide schools and organizations with a free DVD of the program and a screening guide for planning every step of the screening, from advertising to execution. It includes additional information about the climate science discussed in the program, as well as sample discussion questions and panel formats to inspire conversations.

Visit PBS’ website for more information or to register for a screening.
