KET offers help for teachers to bring media arts into their classrooms

Kentucky Educational Television (KET) offers its free Media Arts Toolkit to help teachers bring media arts into their classrooms regardless of budget or skill level.

The toolkit includes KET’s documentation of Kentucky teachers and students creating podcasts, films, songs and comic books as well as flying drones and using augmented reality. Teachers also may request a free binder with media arts teacher materials.

KET also offers transportation reimbursement for free media arts workshops at the KET Network Center in Lexington through a grant from the Kentucky Department of Education.

Visit KET’s website for more information on the Media Arts Toolkit and on transportation reimbursement for media arts workshops.
