The Next-Generation Student Council

While always on the minds and agendas of staffers at the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), students are a rarity in the KDE offices. But recently members of the Next-Generation Student Council visited KDE to share their thoughts about classroom engagement, teacher evaluations, finical aid and even school lunch with the Kentucky Department of Education.

Show and tell and write

Eighth-grade language arts teachers at Henry F. Moss Middle School (Warren County) delved deeper into the lives of their students during recent class presentations. Students were asked to bring in five items of personal importance that represented significant relationships, events or topics in their lives.
