ACTFL calls for proposals for its 2019 annual convention

Get serious about turning your idea into a convention proposal. Submit a proposal to be considered to present at the 2019 ACTFL Annual Convention and World Languages Expo Nov. 22-24, 2019, in Washington, D.C.

With the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) convention featuring more than 800 sessions covering a wide variety of topics at all levels and languages, the Convention Committee is seeking sessions that help language educators be better able to develop their students’ critical-thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

The entire selection process is designed to provide attendees with an exciting array of sessions and events to help educators become more well-informed teachers and administrators. Language educators at all levels and of all languages are invited to submit a proposal.

The submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. ET Jan. 11. All proposals for consideration must be submitted online and will not be accepted after the deadline date.
