The Portuguese Cybersecurity Program at the University of Washington is an opportunity for high school students in the United States to become familiarized with the principles of cybersecurity, while learning and/or improving their Portuguese language skills. Heritage and/or Advanced Placement students of Portuguese and/or Spanish are encouraged to apply.

This summer camp is funded by the National Security Agency’s (NSA’s) GenCyber program. This is the first time that NSA has funded a GenCyber program in a language other than English.

Two online programs are being offered:

  • Program A (asynchronous): July 12-30
  • Program B (asynchronous and synchronous): July 12-30 (asynchronous) and Aug. 2-6 (synchronous), 9:30 a.m.-3:p.m. PT

For more information and application form, visit the University of Washington’s GenCyber webpage.
