Members of the fourth incarnation of the Next-Generation Student Advisory Council met with Commissioner Terry Holliday, Kentucky Board of Education Chairman Roger Marcum and other KDE staff and government officials during their first meeting of the 2014-15 school year.
Teachers and students will benefit from gaining deeper understanding of science content.
Week-long event in March will focus on 8th, 10th graders and their strengths and interests.
Additional training has teachers Laying the Foundation for pre-Advanced Placement success.
Some teachers come to network. Some want to know about testing changes. Others pick up new strategies for classroom learning, while others want a challenge for themselves. But the common bond they all share is they want to be better Advanced Placement (AP) teachers.
