KHSAA Boys’ Sweet Sixteen 2013

The KHSAA Boys Sweet Sixteen is one of my favorite annual events and I know I’m not alone. It’s as high of an energy atmosphere as you can get. From a photographer’s standpoint, it’s a golden opportunity filled with great action, and tons of emotion.

Dr. Seuss in the classroom

The March 2 birthday of author Dr. Seuss gave teachers across the nation an opportunity to include a little craziness into their classrooms. With his birthday landing on a Saturday this year, activities took place last week, but also are planned for this week.

Capitol Education Center

Students from Rosa Parks Elementary School (Fayette County) and Richardsville Elementary School (Warren County) were on hand for the Capitol Education Center’s grand opening, hosted by First Lady Jane Beshear.
