Vanessa Lyons, a reading intervention educator and program facilitator for Taylor County Intermediate School, was awarded the Kentucky Education Support Staff Professional (KESSP) Award during a surprise ceremony at the school on Feb. 27.
Latonia Elementary School Administrative Assistant Kim Frank earns 2024-2025 Kentucky Education Support Staff Professional Award
Frank’s dedication to the students, staff and school was honored on Feb. 21 with the 2024-2025 Kentucky Education Support Staff Professional (KESSP) Award. Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman, Commissioner of Education Robbie Fletcher, school district officials and Frank’s friends and family celebrated her achievement at the school.
Taylor County bus driver Sam Graham earns 2024-2025 Kentucky Education Support Staff Professional Award
Sam Graham has dedicated more than six decades of his life to the children of Taylor County Schools.
Robertson County’s Brandon Burden receives 2024 Kentucky Education Support Staff Professional Award
During the 2015-2016 school year, Burden was a student who participated in the district’s Functional Mental Disabilities special education unit. The following school year he took on custodial work within the district as a part of his cooperative education program.
Fayette County’s Judy Edens receives 2024 Kentucky Education Support Staff Professional Award
Judy Edens, also known as Mrs. Judy, is the lead custodian and has been a part of Breckinridge Elementary for the past 17 years. On Feb. 9, she was honored with the 2023-2024 Kentucky Education Support Staff Professional (KESSP) Award.
