Kentucky School Counselor Association seeks conference proposals

The Kentucky School Counselor Association is accepting proposals for its fall conference Sept. 11-13 at Lexington Griffin Gate Marriott Resort and Spa.

Work to create standards for school counselors continues

School counselors and postsecondary partners on two advisory councils are working to develop standards both for school counselors and for the preparation of prospective counselors, as well as a model that will illustrate what effective school counseling should look like.

SACS policy for dual credit reversed

Please be advised that a new SACS policy that was to go into effect starting in the 2019-2020 school year preventing dual credit and non-dual credit students from being in the same course has been reversed.

Academic standards adopted for Historical and Cultural Influences of the Bible...

The Kentucky Academic Standards for the Historical and Cultural Influences of the Bible Elective Social Studies Course were adopted at the August 2018 Kentucky Board of Education meeting and now are available for download and use.
