Registration is open for new chapters of the Kentucky Junior Historical Society (KJHS), a club-like program that can help teachers engage their students with Kentucky history.

The KJHS program focuses on Kentucky history and offers a flexible format – after-school or curriculum-based – that can be tailored to the needs of schools and teachers.

Teachers receive a handbook with activities and students receive club member T-shirts. Students in chapters that are established and registered by Oct. 1 are also offered discounted registration for the 2016 KJHS Fall Meeting on Nov. 1 in Frankfort.
