The Kentucky Historical Society is seeking 20 civically engaged high school students from across the Commonwealth who are passionate about history, leadership, and making a difference in their communities to serve in a year-long program.

Through the Youth Advisory Board, students will help shape how Kentucky’s history is preserved and shared while exploring careers in history, government, public policy, education, and public service. Through hands-on experiences and collaboration with scholars and professionals, participants will develop leadership skills, engage in civic dialogue, and build a portfolio of work reflecting their contributions and experiences.

Selected students will be eligible to receive a $500 stipend upon meeting program participation requirements.
