The Kentucky Theater Association’s annual Professional Development Day, which is designed for teachers with all levels of experience teaching drama, is scheduled for Nov. 12.

KTA’s Professional Development Day is held in conjunction with its annual conference, which features a high school one-act play festival, a community theater play festival and auditions for performers seeking acting opportunities around the country.

In addition to hands-on, participatory sessions, the event also gives participants the opportunity to meet representatives from organizations like the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) and the Kentucky Arts Council. Participating educators are eligible for six hours of professional development credit.

The registration deadline is Nov. 2. For more information, click here.
